During the tournament the VirgInia Chess Federation (VCF) received several complaints from players about their opponents' alleged behavior.

VCF takes these allegations very seriously.

Because over-the-board chess and online chess are so different, the US Chess Federation allows tournament organizers up to 3 weeks after a tournament to analyze all results from their events for Fair Play Violations. VCF is working closely with Chesskid.com during the tournament, and we will continue to do so in the days after the tournament.

If VCF suspects a player of violating Fair Play we will pursue those cases to the fullest extent allowed by the US Chess Federation. Your role as a player is to bring such matters directly to our attention so we can examine them.
