Five Round Swiss System Event Time Control Game in 40 Minutes
Each player will receive a
free tee shirt and an athlete's badge which allows them to watch all
the events, not just the chess.
Spectators will be charged for
access to the tournament hall as allowed and the skittles room.
There are tickets for both one day $10 and all weekend $17. The tickets allow access
to all the events, not just chess.

Prizes: Prizes
in each section will be: 1st to 5th place - Trophies.
Medals to all remaining participants. Team trophies 1st to
3rd place for teams of at least 2 players from same school. Home
schooled
students
may form teams if players are from the same
city.
Registration: On-site registration from 8:00
to 9:00 am on Saturday.
Memberships: A
USCF
membership
current
through
2/27/2011
is
required for all
participants in the rated sections. The membership can be purchased at
the site or on-line
before the tournament at
www.uschess.org.
If
you
purchase
on-line, please bring
proof of membership.
The
non-rated sections do not require USCF membership.
Rounds: First
round
will
start
at 9:30 The ending time may vary as each
section will be paired as soon as possible. The tournament is expected
to be over by about 4:30 pm but some sections may finish earlier.
This is not a
knock-out event. Participants will play all five games regardless if they
win or lose unless they request a bye. Prizes will be awarded
as soon as each section is finished.
Equipment: Sets and boards will be
provided. Please bring a chess clock if you have one.
