Chess
tournaments are not knock-out events. Participants will play between
4-6 games depending upon the event. See each event's detailed

Chess Exhibition by FIDE Master James Schuyler.
FM Schuyler will play up to 30 opponents at one time. 7-10 pm. Chess
equipment prizes to winners.
Registration to play $15 in advance, $20 on the day of the event.

Scholastic Chess Championships A VCF event
A one-day chess tournament open to grades K-12 and
home-schooled young people.
Sections include K-5, K-12, non-rated K-5 and non-rated K-12.
